About the event
A wonderful opportunity to come and make a solid silver bangle and charm in this fun and friendly workshop suitable for beginners.
In this workshop you will learn a variety of traditional silver smithing skills as well as the basics of working with magical silver clay.
You will be guided through each step and learn how to make your own solid silver made to measure bangle from sterling silver wire. You will also have the opportunity to add texture by hammering or personalise it by stamping text, secret messages or names etc
You will learn how to make a silver charm with silver clay to compliment your bangle. This will include how to roll, texture and cut your silver clay before refining firing and polishing.
We will use leaves and botanical moulds to create texture on our charms.
Finally you will attach your charm to your bangle using basic soldering skills, giving them a final polish before wearing it home.
