About the event
In this wonderful workshop you will use magical silver clay to hand sculpt a solid silver bee pendant. The bee will be kiln fired before gold is added using an ancient Korean technique Keum Boo to add stripes in 24ct gold.
This workshop is best suited for those with some silver clay experience who would like to further develop their skills and knowledge. Beginners are welcome but this is a slightly more challenging workshop than some of my others.
You will learn step by step how to hand sculpt your bee and add texture to the wings and body and then how to put it together securely.
If time allows you will have the opportunity to learn how to add 24 ct gold stripes to your bee using the ancient Korean technique of Keum Boo.... using heat and pressure to fuse gold to the surface of the silver.
